ABOUT ME

I was born in Goodland, Kansas, however spent most of life in Denver, Colorado. I attended business school at Metro State University and graduated with a B.S. in Business Management and emphasis in Business Law.

Shortly after graduation I met my beautiful wife and immediately fell in love (yes, I do believe in love at first sight). We married in August 2010, and my life has been amazing since. She is my best friend, my rock, and of course my wonderful assistant. We have two beautiful daughters who have changed our entire life in such awesome ways we couldn’t imagine. We are also parents to 2 awesome dogs named Abbey and Sashka.

About My Photography

I have spent my entire life admiring photographs from various artists developing a creative and unique style. My entire goal has been to stay away from taking standard “mall studio” portraits and capture photos that have personality and come to life. In fact I’ve learned over the years that the best photo isn’t posed but the captures in-between.

Climbing a tree to snap a fun angle or laying in a pile of leafs to add a unique foreground is just part of a typical day for me. Where other photographers typically hide from the sun, you’ll find me shooting directly into it to capture “my style.”
